i'm not american myself but the news of the inaugaration of barack obama has reached here in the UK and frankly, i for one am not interested in their skin colour. it is all about him/her doing their job properly and as long as they do that, then clearly what difference does it make if they were black, white, asian or indian? a lot of people voted for barack, not because he is black- but rather that in obama, they see someone who is going to bring positive changes to america and be willing to unite everyone of all races, ages, religious and non religious backgrounds, genders etc. especially those of whom had to endure george bush's awful policies and often bigoted views.

hopefully, barack will be the man to instigate change and give america the hope it has to become the so-called 'global superpower' that people around the world respects.

Regardless of his skin colour, I believe President Obama stands for hope.
