The-N canceled the mostrar [despite the fact the SON was right behind Degrassi(the-n's most popular show) in ratings] because they are trying to connect with a younger fan base. They thought SON did not fit in to the new direction that they were going.
They do not mostrar re runs on the cw, because the-n owns all rights to SON, where as mtv and VIACOM own all rights to Degrassi. Both Gabrielle Christian and Mandy Musgrave both dicho that they would registrarse the SON cast again if the opportunity came up.
