    Queen Guinevere has been bedridden for a week and a half. Despite Gaius’ best efforts, her health has been on a very slow decline for the past seven years. She started sleeping later into the mornings. Her appetite decreased. Her mind is still as sharp as ever and she is still not one to be trifled with, but after a año o so she would not walk anywhere unescorted for fear of losing her balance and falling.

    Gaius walks as fast he can and heads to the council chamber at the end of the corridor. He walks past the knights, the servants, and almost knocks over the gardener.
