famfan Agreed... That whole Excalibur part was utter rubbish. It was such a none event, that whenever I see a post about it I'm like, "oh yeah he did pull the sword from the stone." Instead of making an event/ or a quest for the sword in the stone, they choose to waste a whole episode on enchanted idiot Arthur. Bradley played the part brilliantly but what a waste of time.

Merlin’s head throbbed. The sides of his temples hurt so much that he couldn’t even lift his brow o open his eyes. His ears flickered at the sound of the gushing wind around him; making him shiver as he lay face down on the ground. He forced his eyes to snap open and stared blurrily ahead.
