The desert somewhere between Silver City, NM and Tombstone, AZ, 1880

“Well, I ain’t no gentleman, and tu sure as hell ain’t no lady,” U.S. Marshall Arthur Pendragon drawled slowly from his place under a sparse tree, trying to catch a little shade. “If tu want a wash in that stream, you’re gonna have to do it with me watchin’ ya.”

Gwen growled quietly in frustration. “A girl can’t get any privacy?”

“Darlin’, tu gave up the right to privacy last night when I caught tu climbing out of the window to the room I let tu have in that inn,” he answered...

Morgana clears her throat to gain the attention of both Arthur and Gwen. Gwen drops Arthur’s hand and smiles sheepishly at Morgana. Her friend smiles back, in tease.
“Who is it Guinevere?” Arthur asks, his expression startled. Gwen opens her mouth.
“It’s me… Morgana,” Morgana says immediately, cutting Gwen first.
“Ah, Morgana,” Arthur smiles in relief. “I was scared for a while there,” he adds.
    “Whom tu expecting?”
    “Merlin,”...

“Guinevere?” Arthur is both surprised and happy to hear the voice. He didn’t expect to hear it here and so soon. He must be dreaming.
Gwen looks beyond Arthur at Merlin and the latter just squares his shoulder, urging Gwen to carry on. Gwen looks backs at Arthur. “What are tu doing here, Arthur?” she asks calmly, her voice in devoid of any emotion.
“This is Merlin’s idea… ask him. He dicho he was taking me shopping,” Arthur respuestas with a laugh. “By the way, it’s really tu isn’t it? I was right...

Morgana paces the tiled floor of the Emergency Department, tense. Arms carelessly hanging loose por her side, lips mumbling to herself, eyes focused on the floor, she casts a sight of a forlorn figure. Gwen, who sits opposite her, looks worried watching her friend in such a state. She hates herself for what has happened. They wouldn’t be here, Morgana wouldn’t be in trouble, and Arthur wouldn’t have got knocked down if it wasn’t for her. If only she had kept her teasing until they have reached the restaurant. What was she thinking? Why did she do it? Gwen...

Tristan and Isolt's conflict of amor and loyalty is one of the classic tales of Western literature; in the Arthurian tradition, their tragic tragectory rivals and complements that of Lancelot and Guinevere. The basic story is one of mis-directed love: Tristan, the heroic nephew of King Mark of Cornwall, is sent to Ireland to escort the Irish king's daughter, the beautiful Isolt, to Cornwall to become his uncle's bride. In most versions, it is during the return voyage that Tristan and Isolt accidentally consume a amor potion (meant to ensure Isolt's happiness with Mark) together, and fall in...

Back in the castle, Arthur has pried himself away from Guinevere’s side to attend to his own matters, leaving her alone to get settled in. She has been puttering around the room, putting things away, setting something here, then moving it there.
The door suddenly opens and Merlin comes striding in, candlestick in hand.
“Your trinket, my lady,” he teases, presenting it to her across his forearm with a bow. She laughs and says, “Thank you, my lord,” and takes it. She carries it over to the cama and places...

Elyan turns, takes a bite of his manzana, apple and picks up a cartera, satchel he has brought that has been sitting in the cart. He walks into his sister’s house, followed por Merlin. Arthur also walks toward the house, but stops in front of Gwen, who is holding his apple. She is still smiling, with a loving glow in her eyes as she watches him approach.
“You are a wonderful man,” she says, holding the manzana, apple out for him.
“Everyone deserves a chance,” he replies. They are now both holding the apple. Gwen leans closer, rises...

A Servant of Two Masters- Review

OMG!! What can I say? Lucy Watkins needs to write más episodes! From the intriguing título to the first trailer we saw last week we knew this was going to be completely amazing, and it was with brilliant actuación from everyone and hilarious comedy!

Things I LOVED:

•Gwen- c’mon, tu knew I was gonna say that! I loved how she and Gaius were like the temporary Camelot Detective Agency while Merlin was being all clumsy badass – and the JUGS!! I laughed so much when she knocked Merlin out twice and his face went all dopey! Plus her scene with about-to-have-a-bath...

Arthur steps out into the cool morning air. He looks over at his two companions. Merlin is sitting on the edge of the carro looking up at the sky and Elyan is lying in the cart, apparently dozing.
“Guinevere’s sent some breakfast,” Arthur says as he walks over and plunks the basket down siguiente to Elyan’s head, causing him to jump. Merlin laughs, then notices Arthur’s somewhat haunted demeanor.
    “Something wrong?” he asks.
“Hmm?” respuestas Arthur, still distracted por reciente memories....

“Unlike most fans, I actually haven’t objected to the lack of magic reveal. In fact, I like it a lot because of what it does for Arthur’s character. It’s easy to be frustrated with him as a viewer, because why is he such a dick? Doesn’t he know how much Merlin does for him? But the answer, tu have to remember, is no. We as viewers know everything that goes on. Arthur knows siguiente to nothing. Purely from his point of view, Merlin should have been gone a long time ago. Without his magic, as we have recently seen, Merlin is fairly useless as anything except someone who tends to recklessly...

"With All My Heart"

When tu touch me like this
And when tu hold me like that
It was gone with the wind
But it's all coming back to me
When tu see me like this
And when I see tu like that
Then we see what we want to see
All coming back to me
The flesh and the fantasies
All coming back to me
I can barely recall
But it's all coming back to me now

It’s going to all come back to her, guys. I don’t know exactly what he’s going to do to bring it back, but he is. He’s going to make her remember what they’ve had together; he’s going to make her remember what he is to her. He’s going to make her...

Arthur fixes his tie and cuffs his sleeve. He adjusts his camisa, camiseta and looks himself in the mirror. He likes what he sees. Smiling, he turns around and walks back to his bed, picking up the socks before sitting down at the edge of the bed, resting one foot across his knee as he slides his socks on. Someone knocks at the door. Arthur looks up to see Uther standing por the door, smiling at him. There is a box in his hand.
“Father?” Arthur calls out, brows arching in surprise.
“Carry on; don’t let my presence stop...

Gwen waits patiently as Reagan, Arthur’s lawyer, reads the letter dado por Arthur through Gwen. Reagan is a man in his late fifties but he hardly looks his age. If Gwen didn’t know anything about him, she would have thought him to be in his forties. With his receding hairline, spectacles on the bridge of his nose and graying moustache he paints the portrait of a man who takes his works quite seriously indeed. He hardly looked at her as his eyes were busy lectura the lines of the letter and the only time he actually looked at her was to cough and then that was...

“Are tu sure tu are not coming? Lancelot wants me to persuade tu and he isn’t going to be satisfied with your answer, Arthur,” Gwen says as she arranges the vegetables inside the refrigerator. She did to do some shopping at Arthur on Merlin’s request. Though she didn’t know what the lads needed, she practically bought most of the vegetables and products on sale.
Arthur, seated at the dining table, shakes his head. “I have some things to get done here… sorry, sweetheart. Send my wishes to Morgana and tell Lancelot I’m sorry…...

Now it is subtle, but I am beginning to hear rumblings of discontent on tumblr about the usual lazy escritura on Merlin and más to the point the proposed lack of heirs for the Pendragons. My view? Can we wait and see how the story arc goes please before starting to get pitchforks out? In some they have sons, in some they do not? Let us see how this is played out. Now, true to form this mostrar has never done even vaguely well for continuity, intelligence, much less a proper story arc what with the cop out for tremendously lazy escritura often used so there need not be any character development through...egads...

Arthur lifts his lids open and stares at the darkness surrounding him. It’s the same each day, darkness blanketing everything from him, leaving him veiled with emptiness. He’s used to it por now, but soon all that will change. He’s dado himself hope and with that hope comes the yearning to get his wish granted soon as possible. He’s getting agitated; ever since he declared his plans, he’s been unable to hold back his enthusiasm. He wants everything to be done quickly, to get it all over with. He knows he is asking too much, there’s much to be done before...

Elena pushes her hair behind her ears and adjusts the hem of her falda for the third time that night. Her nervousness is obvious por the way she sits in Arthur’s presence. In front of her, Arthur sits quietly, clutching the cane in his hand as if it was his life saver. They have been in the Godwyn’s household for almost three hours and since he arrived here, he kept his conversation to a minimum. A hello, a nod when necessary, a smile if needed and another hello is all he’s been saying around. He knows why he is here. His father had been clear cut about his...

So this is my post-s5 Arwen fic. It is Arwen, though it takes place after season 5, I promise.

When Gaius told her, she felt a flurry of emotions. Shock. Joy. Sadness. Anger. Fear.
Guinevere, queen of Camelot, was with child.
Shock, because they had been trying for over three years with no results. She was beginning to fear that she was barren.
Joy, because she had something of Arthur left within her, something good and innocent and pure that would carry on his legacy.
    Sadness,...

-Finale-

The hora comes at last, after Arthur cursing the sun, swearing it is moving the wrong way, changing his trousers three times, and forgetting how to fasten his belt.
He stands at the front of the great hall, Geoffrey at hand, still and calm as always. His presence should have a calming effect on Arthur, but instead it only serves to annoy him.
“Any minuto now, Sire,” Merlin says, stepping up to straighten Arthur’s chaqueta and otherwise check that he looks perfect on the outside, even if he is trying...
