Thank you, Issie. How does it feel? Actually surreal to be honest because all I was doing was participating in a current passion of mine, and in the process have met some rather spectacular individuals, yourself included.
When did tu first start shipping Arthur and Gwen?
If truth be told, from the age of eleven. I am big on Arthurian legend, but having dicho that, the episode titled The Moment of Truth. I know. Very unexpected, but I saw the potential then. It went to character, Gwen’s that is and Arthur’s acknowledgment of it.
Where do AG fit in as far as your favorito! pairings go?
In terms of legendary pairings, number two after Pride and Prejudice’s Mr. Darcy and Lizzie Bennet and third of course would be Tristan and Isolde.
If tu could change one single scene/line/anything for Arthur and Gwen, what would that scene be?
“I cannot be your Queen.”
It is the finality of the statement and the pathos it instantly engenders in his facial expression. He left a broken man.
Describe what your dream Arthur/Gwen episode would be like?
Well and truly, one that deals with their mothers. Yes, their mothers. Both grew up without them. I would like a candid, emotionally responsive episode where they both share their respective childhood POV’s for missing that which they could not have missed in absence. To me, that would be a further bonding mechanism, solidifying the characterizations.
What individual character developments did tu enjoy the most in each as the mostrar progressed?
Gwen’s ability to speak her mind, all be it backhanded and subtle constancy in her belief of him that further translates in time, not as a means of sycophantic ideologue but genuine belief that he will be a great king because of his nature, the nature gifted to him genetically from Ygraine, because it obviously does not come from our boy Uther lol. Arthur tends towards doing the right thing instinctively.
As to Arthur, I was most proud of him, post picnic incident when he spoke up for his love, despite pending doom and egregious over-reaction of Daddy Dearest. The man, Uther, never does anything por halves. Such a flatulent ass, so beautifully played por Anthony lol!
When tu think of Arthur and Gwen, what is the one scene that pops into mind? Also why does this scene jump out to you?
Oh that is easy. The “worry is not wise counsel” scene. Here I saw the foreshadowing of the Once and Futures as a couple. Again, there connectivity does transcend mere physical attraction and gains strength por how they counter balance each other as EQUALS. Yes, equals. She, like Merlin acts as a rudder to this strength whenever waning. That is going to be essential. She is, like the colours she wears, the very highest chakra (violet, indigo). She is the spirit of kindness, goodness, grace and empathy. He is the base chakra (red, earth tones, darker hues), the fight o flight. Both create balance and that is what tu have in both characterizations and hence the pull they have towards one another. Their midpoint as individuals is balance and right. Believe it o not, that is why they work. Sort of like the yin/yang symbol.
What sorts of Arwen scenes do tu prefer? [Angst- driven, fluffy, dramatic, etc.]
I have a strong predisposition for drama that shows actual character development so that it becomes readily apparent to the viewer why they are kismet so to speak. I amor scenes where they balance each other in moments of profound stress. It never need be 50/50 because no relationship is ever 50/50 on balance. I like scenes where they apuntalar, costa up each other’s weakness as individual as well and who doesn’t like romance, is a liar. I quite like that too.

Angst-driven scene: Oh that is easy and probably what most have already chosen. The trono room scene...I will always amor you.
Fluffy/Cute scene: Stairs and the first time they actually flirt post the near disaster that was marriage where Arthur wanted to throw himself on his sword. What made that scene work so beautifully I suspect is that final hop up the final stair Arthur made. It dicho everything about the scene. That was a happy man who had gotten his reprieve and más to the point he flattened his father rightly. Thank you, Merlin for the brilliant advise, tu got from “a book” lol.
Kiss: Without question, the first kiss and then the segundo to last kiss.
Underrated: Hmmm, I am not going to pick the one that tu expect. I actually amor best of all the scenes shared in the series, where Merlin comes to Arthur and says...
“Don’t be a prat.”
These past three seasons, we have seen Arthur and Gwen develop from coming to an understanding, developing feelings for each other, and becoming secure in their relationship. The future of season 4 will bring a couple that are truly in amor with one another. How do tu think these factors will affect their relationship come season 4?
Yes, there has been tremendous growth as individuals in dealing with the slow simmer that is their relationship, as it stands but I think, what we have seen most is Gwen very much cosseting and bolstering Arthur, which he needed. Now I believe it is his turn. It is a tall order what he will ask of her to be his Queen. It is his turn to help her find the grace, intrinsic to her nature por allowing her personal development. I wish for the characterization of Guinevere, not to be the thing on his arm. I wish a fully rounded character who isn’t nicey nice. Who continues to have opinions, act on them for the betterment of the whole that is not only Camelot, but Albion and in so doing, further forge and strengthen that which makes them whole as a couple. They will never last, if they are not whole unto themselves.
Acting/Chemistry time! Bradley and ángel are always commended for their chemistry-driven and beautiful performances when they act together. In your opinion, which one Arwen scene did Brad and ángel perform the best and why?
Hands down, when she goes to visit him about his pending marriage and states that she will watch him become the King that Camelot deserves. It is poignant and rich and I give both tremendous kudos, the scene brought me close to tears. Not only because of Gwen’s intrinsic nobility in the moment, but even here, where he dies a small death....she re-enforces, más so to the audience than the man she loves, why she is the Once and Future Queen, not just of Camelot but Albion.
Talk about grace under pressure and just a plain class act when the chips are down.
Unlike several legends of Arthur/Guinevere, our Arthur/Gwen had build-up. How does this affect their relationship as it progresses?
Personally, I feel there were plot holes a mile wide in S1 and part of S2 but once they got it going, it moved along at a goodly pace. In no way rushed.

One, I am sorry I dawdled so much in answering. Once I got into it, was a breeze and I loved rethinking some things and recognizing why I amor the series and the OTP. I like what they symbolize and I think both actors are well placed in it and have más chemistry than tu can throw a stick at. Thoughts...nothing deep. Bring on S4.
