well,the arctic monkeys are from England, they formed in 2002, at the moment, the band consists of Alex Turner(vocals & guitarist,he has an amazing voice), Jamie Cook(guitarist), Nick O'Malley(bass guitarra & back vocals), Matt Helders(drums & backing vocals).
The former members were Andy Nicholson(who was the bajo guitarra & backing vocals), & Glyn Jones(he was the leading vocals & guitar).
Their first album released was 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not', in 2006. Also it was the most fast-selling album in British música history!Since then, they have released two más albums 'Favourite Worst Nightmare'(in 2007) & also 'Humbug'. Currently they are in the studio, recording their fourth album, expected to be released in 2011.(can't wait!)
Arctic Monkeys is herald as one of the first acts to bring huge amounts of public attention to become extremely famous through the internet & fan-sites. & most say that they have created a new way of música to become popular(via net).
