Japan doesn't JUST have PG-13 anime. They have to have anime for the kids to watch! I actually prefer kids anime over the mainstream anime like Attack on Titan (Which I still wonder WHY it's so popular) any day!

I enjoy anime or cartoons for young children IF they revolve around characters I'm familiar with. Ones that come to mind are Shugo Chara Party and Transformers Rescue Bots.

No . . . They just . . . Bore me. I highly enjoy the suspense, terror, and the blood in my anime, so anime like pretty cure just aren't for me (I tried to watch that one, I stopped after the third episode).

Considering I enjoy everything from AKB0048 (such guilty pleasure...) to Higurashi: When They Cry, I can't say I'm all that picky. The only thing I honestly dislike is anything that bases itself on fanservice and sex scenes.

They are quite cute.

There are a few I like, such as Cardcaptor Sakura and Shugo Chara!, but I am a die-hard horror fan above anything else. Also, as a side note to you questioning as to why SnK is so popular, I would say it's the characters. They're all realistic in the emotions department. Just my opinion, though.

Yes they are not as perverted. Plus I still consider myself childish, though some people say I present myself like an older person.

The only anime I've ever watched that I KNOW is aimed at children is Pokemon and I wasn't too keen on it (I may have watched others, however, and not realised they were for children). I hate fanservice (well, I don't mind the sexy jutsu since it's for comedy reasons and not overdone, but that's about it), and I'd much rather avoid gore, but all the stories and characters in Pokemon were one-dimensional and yawn inducing at best. I love some cartoons, such as The Penguins of Madagascar, so that's not the issue here. Avatar: The Last Airbender is aimed at children and that's FANTASTIC, but it's not officially classed as an anime, so I'm not counting that. There might be some really good anime out there aimed at children that I have yet to discover, but until I watch them, my answer remains no.

I've enjoyed a fair few anime that are, so yeah.
