Out of all the terrible fathers, he is the worst one. Not only the worst father, but also the worst thing in anime. Period. -_-

Gendo from Evangelion. Even though I don't really like Shinji (Or Evangelion in general) I can easily say that Gendo is a terrible father, since he will always put he left his son at a young age, and when he finally did come back, all he did was force his son to pilot a giant robot to fight Angels, and did not care if Shinji died o not. That is why he is awful
