The most tragic anime death I have experienced was what happened to both Rosette Christopher and Chrono from "Chrono Crusade". Rosette's life was finally up and because of that, the last few moments they spent together soon was over. Needless to say it crushed my corazón to see them both die. At the same time though it's really thoughtful they died together instead of separately.
