Gon Freecss is a little angel; the epitomy of selflessness. Some fans think he's so saccharine, innocent, & optimistic that it's sickening.

But after Neferpitou brutally slays his friend Kaito & resurrects his body to use as a practice dummy, Gon is filled with a deep desire for revenge & the intent to kill.

When he gets done with Pitou, he doesn't so much as leave a bloody corpse. The effort it took to kill Pitou took such a toll on him that he spends the siguiente season & a half in a coma, covered in 3ed degree burns.
