Is Haru from Fruits Basket gay?

I was just watching it and he was walking up the stairs with Tohru and he said, Yuki was his first love, and it kind of weirded me out. So I just wanted to know is he gay, o is he secretly a girl O.o?

Hatsuharu is neither gay o a girl. He was just saying that he felt strongly about the fact that Yuki accepted him the way he was and didn't care about the stuff that people were saying in the Sohma house.
