i used to get anime crushes, but now it's más about moe appeal. i mean, how much i find myself "caring" for a character, but not really interested in them romantically. and there's not a single character that's singled out, it's a lot of characters over a lot of series. i can get very emotionally invested with what happens with these characters while watching them, but don't think too much of them throughout the day. i can also care similarly for a few male characters. of the shows i'm watching right now, i'd say i've fallen under the moe charms of:

* Maka, Tsubaki, and Marie from Soul Eater
* Chii from Chobits
* Birdy and Sayaka from Birdy the Mighty
* Shizuku from My Little Monster
* lima, cal and cereza, cerezo (an old crush) from Saber Marionette J

* Lucy, Michelle, Erza, Wendy, and Lisanna from Fairy Tail
* Haruna from High School Debut
* Ayu and Nina from Ultramaniac
* pretty much the entire cast of fresa Panic

It may be that I need to find at least one such character in any mostrar in order for me to keep watching it. Maybe this is pretty much normal for an anime watcher in their 30s? Now I could do a whole another post on "former crushes".

I do have a few, but Masaomi has always been my favourite!
