In the segundo season of Black butler , Is it in a alternate universe? Did ciel lose his memories? o is this before the first season? Please will someone anwser this ><

This is what happened:

When Sebby's arm was cut off por Ashe in season 1, he temporally lost his sello of the contract, allowing Claude to take Ciel's soul. When Sebby retrieves Ciel's soul from the Trancy Manor and puts him back together, Ciel looses his memories. He regains them when Sebby and Claude make a deal that Alois and Claude will be Ciel's new target if revenge, though his memories are not completely back, for Sebby makes Ciel believe a false past involving Alois and Claude.

When Claude gets jealous of Sebby, he kills Alois and puts his soul into a red ring. Then he fools Ciel into thinking that Sebby started the fuego that killed his parents, forcing him to leave Sebby and become Claude's master. He makes Ciel wear the red ring to combine his and Alois' souls, but in the process of doing so, Alois takes over Ciel's body. Hannah then tries to make a contract with Alois while he's in Ciel's body. She almost succeeds, but Sebby and Claude have a demon duel. Sebby wins and Ciel takes back his own body. The only bad part is now he is a demon.

Its not an alternate universe lol. An if I remember correctly he has lost his memories (been a while since i've seen it) but if tu continue to watch it will explain why and the reason for it.
