anime o manga with a dark sense of humor?
Please don't suggest anything that's been on cable TV in English. ^.^
I've asked for anime comedies, but when I try out the suggestions people give, I sit through the episodes wondering when I'm supposed to laugh. I guess I've gotten to the point where only dark humor & blue comedy amuse me anymore. :(
Dark humor: Death, pain, & cruelty are a joke, friends are a mean-spirited like siblings.
Blue comedy: Anything socially inappropriate & taboo become commonplace-acceptable o jokes, like incest, pedophilia, murder, homosexuality, gender change, teachers dating students, etc.
Examples:
----------------
Kuroshitsuji: It's got a pedophile-magnet who likes to shoot people in the face with a gun, a Marty Stu demon butler, hired assassins laboring as clumsy mansion staff, & a transsexual serial killer with a chainsaw.
Gokusen & The Wallflower: A couple of series about tsundere women who scare the piss out of men & make day-to-day life chaotic.
Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro: A demon who eats mysteries forces a couple of teenagers to set up a detective agency & he treats them like furniture. Mindfuckery & gore ensue.
Excel Saga, Hale nochi Goo, DiGi Charat, Rupan the 3ed, Boku Patalliro, & Goldfish Warning: Fast-paced comedies not very heavy in plot that involves a lot of WTF & characters frustrating & irritating the crap out of eachother.
Colorful: A very lite ecchi comedy about a bunch of losers who get the crap kicked out of them & never ever get anything for their pains.
Nekojiru Gekijou & Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan: These shows are pure comedy, knows for their excessive censor-button-pushing violence.
Juubei-Chan: Makes fun of anime cliches.
Special Duty Combat Unit Shinesman: Makes fun of other anime.
Axis Powers hetalia & hetalia World Series: Human manifestations of countries fight & flirt with eachother. Discussing this series within earshot of anyone who's never seen it brings it;s own kind of awkward comedy into the world.
