Supposedly Bangel fans literally ruined Cangel for us because I've read that in the season 3 DVD commentary it's revealed that Cangel was going to become an official couple but it was scrapped due to a bad fan response. I don't own the DVDs so I can't actually verify this though.
I'm sorry but I just can't respect Bangel fans for this and for how their arguments are always so full of naive fantasy. I'm so ashamed that I was ever into Bangel. It holds the record for my briefest ship ever, but it still happened and that's wrong.
