I would always love him because he has a good heart even though he turns bad later on. That glow of love that is Anakin is always deep in his heart waiting for someone to fan the flame back to life. His son Luke was the one who did it.

Yes, he was never truely evil, he was extremely misguided. I mean, poor baby. I would always love him. Now likeing him when he was in that state...eh...

Honestly, I think Anakin's very easy to love. :)

And in all honesty, fruitsofmalice and padani53 really spoke for me. He wasn't a bad person -- just really misguided.

Anakin is naturally born to put is compassion for others above himself. This can be both a good and a bad thing, depending on the extent of how far he is willing to go in order to do something for someone he cares about. In RotS, he went way too far in his endeavor to save Padmé, but can you really blame him since he was blinded by his own desire to show compassion and care? Palpatine used Anakin's kind heart against him, so really, he isn't a bad person at all. I think he, out of all the other Star Wars characters, would be the best on to fall in love with. He's devoted, considerate, determined, and loving. He has his downfalls, but every good character does. It proves that he's human and makes mistakes, just like the rest of us. His mistakes don't make him unlovable.

I will always love Anakin,he was never truly evil just really misguided. all he wanted to do is to save Padme from dying..

If i was anakin's wife i would be with him regardless as we all know anakin wasnt really evil he was just very misguided and i think that if padme stayed with him he would of left the dark side and they would of been happy but sadly it did not happen that way
