His bashful nature is pretty charming, but I liked him a lot better when he was the consistent contestant, reliable to sing well but not outstanding every week. As such, he was outperforming most of the others until it got down to the top 12. Now he's been making more and more mistakes, and his youth is showing in his inability to take mistakes in stride.

To harold - I have to disagree with you. With the exception of the one week when he forgot his lines, he has been outstanding in all other performances. In fact he has been extremely consistent. He shows a lot of maturity and has been handling the whole competition with a lot of strength. He also has to keep up with school, remember, which puts him at a disadvantage over the others with time scheduling. That, in itself, is amazing for a kid his age to handle. Somehow he pulls it off, though. He's an adorable kid with a sweet personality (which seems very genuine, not put on) and I really hope he wins.
