no! i love Tara to bits but it would not have made sense, characters need to stay dead once in a while

I would have liked to see her in season 7 but not evil, Tara could not be evil. (ok I know it would not have been her but still.) If the first had been Tara then I think Willow would have found it harder to work out it was not really her because she would not want her to be a trick.

Yeah I wanted her too come back not evil But thats why they didnt use her In "Conversations With Dead People" It would be too upsettin for the audiance

Absolutely yes! I would love to read some ideas of how she would return without evil consequences to her character. What about a vengeance demon came along (D'Hoffry for example) and reversed time because he sensed Willow's intentions of ending the world and as a result his pathetic life too?

I didn't want her to die in the first place. But once she was killed, I didn't want her to come back because I think dead characters should stay dead. I didn't like it when Angel came back, for example. But I would have loved seeing her a bit more, like in heaven, or through flashbacks and stuff. They could have found a way to make her talk to Willow one last time. God it sucks she was killed.

I remember reading a false spoiler at the time that it was going to turn out that the soul that Spike got was not actually his own, but Tara's. I think that would have been cool.
Also, there was an alternate ending mentioned where Buffy got a wish for saving the world, and she wished for Willow to have Tara back. I'm not sure if that would have made sense, but it would have been nice.

I agree with amazondebs. Sometimes a character's influence is just over. They would not fit in with the other character's new lives. Plus evil Tara, so sad!
