Seventeen
An Alpha and Omega poem for my creative escritura class.

Seventeen. Not very old for someone like me.
Who likes the wars in the stars, o the arrow that is green.
The radioactive lizard, the dragones that are trained,
the fellowship of Isildur’s bane and the doctor with no name.

But just one thing and one thing only, has changed my life so much.
With myself, I have gotten in touch.
I never could’ve dreamed it would be like this.
This chance was either hit o miss.

It started when I was just a kid.
