name in native language: phrruii phruii rzzz
origin: the exact origin of the mulchon is not known, but most alienologists assume that these aliens come from a planit that has been cleared of all trees
diet: this alien's diet seems to consist exclusively of trees
distinguishing features: mulchons look almost lizard-like & their size varies: a starving mulchon might be 5 feet tall, but a well-fed one can easily be triple that in size. they have three figers & toes wth retactable claws
despite the mulchon's friendly appearance, this alien avoids humans. mulchans are not dangerouse, but if you find yourself between a mulchon & a tree, you'd better step out of the way. the real problim with the mulchon is that it eats trees, leaving behond vast distroction.
mulchons' jaws open extremely wide, & their bodies can absorb an enormous mass of wood. they can eat & digest whole trees in a matter of minutes. unfortunately, it has also been discoverd that they take loads of lumber with them when they leave earth.
their name, given to them by lumberjacks, refers to their droppings, which both look & act as an excellent pest- & weed-resistant mulch
alien sightings on earth: the mulchon are ofen seen by lonely lumbjacks deep in the woods. these aliens enerally avoid cities & humans, most likely in order to forcus entirely on trees.
a fifty six year old lumberjack named hank swenson woking alone n the forests of alaska claims that two mulchons he observed cleared a square mile of pine forst in less than an hour, leaving behind nothing but short stumps. he describe their voraciouse appette in the follwing way: "they ate like they had wood chippers in their jaws & put a whole tree away in less time it takes me to eat an apple."
some who have enconterd this alien claim that it can communicte with humans through charades.
