Oh yes. He's very popular. I have a friend who went to see a play with him in it and after the play she went to the pub across the street for a glass a wine. Alan was there drinking wine as well with a group of close friends of his, having a blast, talking, and telling jokes. Mostly Alan told the jokes. My friend thought it was pretty cool and amusing seeing Alan out and about with his friends having a good time. :D

He would have lots of friends but that doesn't mean he isn't very private
