may sound a little chessy but if is meant to be one of you will make that meeting possible!

probably some other important things to consider are...

Have you ever met the person in real life?
If you have met, how did the two of you get along?
Have you attempted to express your feelings to that person?
If you have expressed your feelings, how did they respond?
If you haven't, perhaps you should try to SLOWLY convey that...
Don't dump it all at once if they are clueless, or chances are you are going to scare that person away, and feel very rejected.

If it's a mutual thing, then I'm sure that leuron and amazondebs are right. If the two of you feel strongly enough, and want it badly enough, then I'm sure that between the two of you, you'll find a way to make it happen.

Maybe my view is overly naive, since it's never happened to me personally, but I do know it's hard to keep up a close friendship long-distance, so I can't imagine a relationship like that would be very easy.

Hope's a good thing, yes, but false hope isn't. Even if you did meet up with them, how often would you be able to see them again after that? I know it would be very hard, but, as cliched and unhelpful as it is, there are other fish in the sea. Keep up the friendship, but allow yourself to be open minded about meeting other people.

I would never fall in love with someone I have never met, but I am sort of trying to get over someone that I know, and the best way that I have found is to just go on with life as best you can, meet new people, find other things to think about, and wait for time to do its trick.
The hardest thing is knowing you have to forget him, but being unable to get rid of that last vestige of hope that something might change.

But this is all advice for love that is not reciprocated. If it is reciprocated, then by all means find a way to meet!

I think you can have a crush over the internet, but I think to fall in love you need to see them face to face, because people are really different on the internet.

Maybe you'd have a crush, then meet them, and then you would do the falling in love part.

Same thing happened to me.. but that was awhile ago and I can't stop loving that person. I know I can't have this person.. but I keep it in my heart that one day.. I might get to see this person and just hold them tight. Now you see.. the person I fell in love with lived in another country and already had a girlfriend so it was impossible for even an online relationship. We just kept it simple and stayed friends.. Then one day I got the guts to tell him that I love him.. and he said it back.. and told me the truth and that he felt a connection between us too. :) I was soo happy. But since he was already in a relationship and at the time.. I had myself A boyfriend.. we decided it would be best to just keep it on a friends level. But I still long to meet him some day. Just to touch his hand, hold him tight, and never let go. :)

True story: Met my Markypoo off of this site in person. He actually left me for a while before it happened, because he thought it wasn't going to happen.
But it did, and now we're happy :D

I think you just either have to wait it out, or define whether or not your feelings are real.
