The Beatles became surprised when the car stopped near a monument facing the river. This was no ordinary monument, though. It was a group of statues sculpted in honor of the band themselves. Nicholas' father dicho as they walked towards it, "This is our special surprise." John exclaimed, "Why, it's us!" Paul said, "This is so touching, too!" George remarked, "It goes to mostrar that our popularity has endured even to this day." Ringo replied, "Indeed!" Everyone then took fotos with the monument, and the Beatles even did some wacky poses. Just as they were about to go back to the car, the same group of girls from Albert Dock managed to reach the place. The Beatles hugged and kissed each of them as they cried tears of joy. One said, "I'm so happy to meet tu all." George replied, "It's lovely to meet you, too." Another showed them one of albums which they own and asked, "Can tu please take our autographs?" Paul replied, "Certainly!" The girls then thanked them after signing their signatures, and in return, the band gave them más hugs and kisses. Before leaving, they all said, "We amor tu so much." Ringo blew another kiss and replied, "We amor you, too!" Rosie said, "That was really sweet of them." Nicholas replied, "It sure is, love." The Fab Four felt very happy after meeting más of their present día fans. Next, they visited the Beatles store, where they saw lots of cool souvenirs, all with the band's logo and images. The comprar was playing their music, too. After buying some items, they drove to Liverpool One to have dinner. John said, "That was a splendid surprise tu showed us." Nicholas' mother replied, "We're glad tu amor it!" Ringo said, "We really do, darling!"

The siguiente museum we went to was the Swiss Camera Museum, which is located in Vevey, too. In this museum, there are exhibits showcasing the history of fotografía and film. It even displays some vintage cameras. We also watched a hilarious short film in the theater before leaving. In the following day, we visited the Swiss Museum of Games. This museum is just a short walk away from our hotel, and what makes it unique is that it's housed in a castle. Inside the museum were exhibits of classic games, from marbles to chess, as well as retro and modern video games. Our visits to both museums were splendid and we had a very lovely time.
Today is the start of our museum tour. We went out a little earlier than usual so we could have más time. The first museum that we visited was the Alimentarium comida Museum in Vevey. Before going there, we decided to check out the Nestle headquarters and shop. Afterwards, we started our walk to the museum. It was a little far, though. But we didn't mind as we also wanted to walk por the lakeside. When we reached the museum vicinity, we posed for pictures with the Charlie Chaplin statue and a suspended giant fork. The museum itself showcases the history of comida and there are lots of interactive exhibits. There is also a cafe in the ground floor. An audio guide is recommended to make the most of your visit, so I got one for free at the ticket booth. In the end, it was another educational and enjoyable experience for us.
The first historical place that we visited is the Chillon Castle, o the "Château de Chillon", as it is locally called. I was excited for this, as I will be going inside a castillo for the very first time. I've always been fascinated por them. My father also took a break from his work so he can visit the castillo with us. We got a discount for our tickets after mostrando our visitor card. The castillo was built on a small rocky island in the lake. We explored the dungeon, the dining room, the armory, and the courtyard. There is even an ancient bathroom where the toilets are simply large holes! Overall, it was a fun and educational experience and we enjoyed our visit there. Before going back to the hotel, we ate a hearty cena at a chinese restaurant called Beijing Town in Montreux.
After studying the mini booklet the past night, my mother and I decided to ride the tram bus going back to Vevey. We showed the visitor card to the driver, who then allowed us to take our seats. It was a relaxing ride. When we arrived, we went to a small shopping center to eat lunch. We also explored the department store and supermarket, where we bought some take-out food, chocolate bars, and juice. After the mall closed for the day, we went around the neighborhood for a couple of hours before going back to the hotel. My father returned from his work and asked how our día was. We told him that we had lots of fun together, to which he responded, "I am very happy to know that tu are enjoying the place." Soon, it was time to go to bed. Before I slept, my mother told me that we will be visiting Montreux tomorrow.

Today is the start of our first trip to Switzerland and our very first trip to the continent of Europe. Everything is all set. We have our passports with the visas ready, our hotel has been booked, and we have arranged for a car service to take us to the airport. I was very excited for this trip. Our flight path includes a stopover in Singapore, since there are no direct flights going to Switzerland from the Philippines. The airline that we rode is Singapore Airlines. When we touched down in Singapore, we had to stay there overnight as the flight going to Zurich is on the siguiente day. We stayed in a cheap, low quality hotel called Grand Chancellor, which is located in the Little India district. After checking in, we ate cena outside and did some shopping in a nearby mall. We got ready to sleep right away once we got back to our room, as we had to wake up early for the flight tomorrow...
